4. Jim 'The Anvil' Neidhart

In the build up to WrestleMania 32, a friend and I decided to watch WrestleMania VII and try and work out who was the most, 'accentuated by substance', should I say.

It was all fairly even to begin with, that was until the pre-match interviews ahead of the Hart Foundation taking on the Nasty Boys. Needless to say, nobody came close to Jim Neidhart for the rest of the show.

One of Bret Hart's greatest skills was the way he sold offence, a great skill to have in the tag team ranks. It obviously helped that his partner was the Anvil, a man who was built akin to a bowling ball and with all the momentum of one too.

When the tag eventually came Neidhart wasn't one to enter with finesse, choosing instead to take the time-honoured strategy of 'running into guys as fast you can'.

It worked, and night after night crowds would go ballistic watching Jim Neidhart run into people. Professional wrestling, ladies and gentlemen.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
