2. Kevin Owens vs. Finn Balor (Beast In The East)
The NXT Championship match from WWE's Beast in the East special might not have been the true main event of the card, but it was easily the biggest match that everyone was anticipating. Supplemented by weeks of documentary support on NXT programming, WWE perfectly groomed Finn Balor to be the next NXT Champion.
The match itself was enjoyable on a variety of levels. Kevin Owens brought a certain brand of snarkiness that was fun to watch. He was chucking a bouquet of flowers, mocking John Cena's mannerisms, and berating the Tokyo crowd any chance he could.
Finn Balor, decked out in full Demon body paint, engaged in an all out battle to become the new NXT Champion. He used his Bloody Sunday and two Coup de Graces to put away Kevin Owens in this magnificent match of the year contender.
As amazing as this match was, there was one more match this past week that was even better than this one...
