No moment belongs in the top slot more than this one.
It's not all about Becky Lynch or her remarkable rise from Irish-dancing joke to 'The Man' either. This is a wider commentary on how women remodelled WWE prejudice and preconceptions about what female wrestling meant to the audience. It could easily have been sub-titled, 'From Eye Candy To Respect'.
The fact that Vince McMahon, a guy who traditionally viewed "lady wrestlers" as a sideshow act nobody would take seriously in money-drawing positions, was willing to shift in 2019 is amazing. It wasn't exactly his grand plan though. No, women like Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Ronda Rousey, Sasha Banks and everyone else who aspired for change was responsible.
WrestleMania 35's headliner was a victory for all of them. It was a win for every woman under contract, and it was a defining moment for every young girl watching who one day dreams of becoming a pro wrestler. If 2010-2020 has done one thing right, it's shine a spotlight on those who work hardest. Gender be damned.
