Fans of The Football Ramble podcast have probably noticed Pete Donaldson make odd references to wrestling during discussions on the hit soccer show, but those nominal mentions are just about all he's got in his locker compared to comedy writer superfan and Wrestle Me co-host Marc Haynes.

The pair combine wisdom and whimsy (and both have both), reviewing every WrestleMania with Marc playing the human Wikipedia to Pete's comically confused questions. Diversions and distractions are the norm, with the pair paying far closer attention to ridiculous elements of the events such as production snafus, odd wrestler bodies and every last movement of iconic announcer of the era Lord Alfred Hayes.

They're making enjoyably slow progress too. Now 32 episodes in, the show is still only up to WrestleMania XI, with pay-per-views split over digestible half an hour gabfests, with further breaks in the original construct expected as they take an equally enjoyable SummerSlam scenic route.
