Conrad Thompson's success in the wrestling world hasn't been without the help of the insiders he probes in lengthy conversations every week, but the man himself deserves enormous credit for transforming a passion project into something that now stands arm-in-arm with an independent wrestling revolution.

Starrcast as a concept is yet another magnificent Conrad creation. Thompson's interviews about the event reflect the die-hard fan he was before finding fame in the podcast world (as well as meeting a wife-to-be born of wrestling royalty), and it's this that has fuelled his empire beyond the chats with his future father-in-law Ric Flair that first brought him into the industry.

Something To Wrestle With Bruce Prichard remains his biggest audio achievement, and with good reason. Despite only launching in 2016, the show almost immediately smashed download records as Prichard offered revelations and rebuttals under direct and detailed questioning. The one-subject format was the crucial difference from virtually every other superstar/insider-led podcast at the time. Deep dives from the duo on everything from Hulk Hogan to Hardcore Holly still make for engaging weekly listens despite the lengthy run-time, with a WWE Network spin-off loyally sticking to the format without compromising the integrity of the original.
