2. OSW Review

It's a good job Ric Flair had already retired before OSW Review's 2011 debut - 'The Nature Boy' cried enough without hosts Jay Hunter, V1 and OOC on hand to make him p*ss tears with their side-splitting video reviews of some of pro wrestling's greatest and grottiest moments.

Led by Hunter, the trio proffer hilarious pokes back through specific eras and timelines, weaving their insightful observations with the footage itself alongside eye-catching visuals created by countless loyal and talented contributors.

Perhaps unlike every other podcast in this list though, OSW Review is less about having something to fill the time on commutes, work-outs or errand runs and more about actually stopping to enjoy the show.

The visual element makes each show an event in its own right, particularly since the masterful and tireless editing became a full time pursuit for Jay. The trio used Patreon to help with the costs of producing something truly exceptional, and have followed through with elite content in a crowded marketplace.

Each monthly show release (alongside numerous extras for patrons at different levels) has with it the excitement of a wrestling pay-per-view itself. With shows often tiptoeing near the three hour mark, the OSW boys have made an art of making their show about the show substantially more entertaining than the original broadcast.
