It's been a long, long time since The Revival felt like anything close to the "top guys" they were when battling with Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa in NXT. Perhaps they'll walk away from WWE later this year and live up to that tag again; until then, we'll just be watching this TakeOver: Toronto classic.

The second and finest of the two teams' epic trilogy, this Two out of Three Falls match reinforced NXT as an outstanding tag team territory and finally gave #DIY a big win to put them over the top. Gargano and Ciampa had been through the ringer prior to Toronto. Their friendship almost fractured after wrestling each other in the Cruiserweight Classic and that they fell to The Revival in their first outing increased the strain, suggesting they were only ever put together to split. Just as it looked like Ciampa was going to turn on his partner, however, #DIY got it together, rallied, and caught the dragon they'd been chasing since arriving in NXT.

A classic southern tag dragged into the modern era, Gargano proved himself a better Ricky Morton than the Shawn Michaels he has tried to play since splitting from Ciampa. Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson literally grabbing each others hands to avoid simultaneous tapouts remains one of the brand's defining images, too.
