10 Best Wrestling Tag Team Names Ever

7. Money, Inc.

Demolition WWF
WWE Network

Again, simplicity is often then best way when naming a tag team. Both Ted DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster had gimmicks that were entirely focused on money. Ted was the arrogant, entitled millionaire, his gimmick was 100% money. The clue regarding I.R.S. is in his name, as Mike Rotunda portrayed a wrestling taxman during the WWF's 1990s occupational wrestling boom.

The duo came together as 'Money Inc.' overnight, and even won tag team gold before they had ever been acknowledged as a duo. They did so thanks to Hawk of the Legion of Doom failing a drugs test, but despite the apparent thrown-together nature of the team they gelled well and went on to have a lot of success in the WWF tag division.

The name suited them perfectly. DiBiase was all about the money, where as IRS was all about the legality of money. Therefore, Money Inc.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
