If you aren't careful, translating Japanese phrases into English can become a full-time hobby, as sometimes it is hilarious. Taka Michinoku was once in a tag team called 'Roughly Obsess and Destroy', and I'm not sure where to start with that. Sometimes random collections of words work perfectly though, and one such example was the highly successful duo of 'Dr. Death' Steve Williams and Terry 'Bam Bam' Gordy, otherwise known as the Miracle Violence Connection.

The team was formed in All Japan Pro Wrestling and would experience great success with the company, winning their tag titles on five occasions as well as back-to-back wins in the AJPW Strongest Tag Determination League. The duo also had a brief run in WCW, where they would win championship gold once more but WCW seemingly didn't know what to do with them.

Their time in WCW was mostly spent dropping the Steiners on their heads, or getting dropped on their heads by the Steiners.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
