10 Best Wrestling Tag Teams Of 2018

8. The Bar

Inexplicably put on the backburner for The Bludgeon Brothers as with the aforementioned Usos, Sheamus and Cesaro were back atop the tree by the end of 2018 after an infamous WrestleMania title trade it took a while to credibly recover from.

Losing to Braun Strowman and young fan Nicholas was the sort of once-a-year-silliness different tag divisions could have sustained. 2018's simply wasn't - and still isn't - strong enough to manage it.

Hidden away from the loss by a move to SmackDown Live, the pair weren't pushed to title contention until they somehow actually won the belts again. Ending 2018 with a bang, the duo took to feuding with blue band stewards The New Day and The Usos, affording match after match after scintillating match between the trios that'll - if absolutely nothing else - heat the belts back up ahead of WrestleMania season in early-2019.

The Bar's longevity speaks to the pair's commitment to their characters during times of such neglect. Lesser sides have been split following a period of creative neglect - Sheamus and Cesaro look set to stay the course a lot longer.
