10 Best Wrestling Tag Teams Of 2019 (So Far)

1. The New Day

Still firing off excellent tag matches every week, still staying over in spite of silly comedy, and still incredibly popular with virtually every corner of WWE's diverse fanbase, The New Day's stock rose even higher when Kofi Kingston reached the summit of the industry at WrestleMania 35.

Literally elevated by Big E and Xavier Woods at the end of the of his instant classic with Daniel Bryan, the longest-tenured member of the trio was breathlessly championed by the pair en route to the title, and has continued to thrive as champion with the pair by his side.

E's recent return from injury has refuelled the act overall, too. His match alongside Woods versus Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn was one of the best matches on a divisive Stomping Grounds card, just months removed from the same duo running a SmackDown Live gauntlet for the good of Kofi's aforementioned WrestleMania cause.

It takes immaculate chemistry and persistent success to remain in the spot The New Day have occupied in WWE for the astonishing five years they've thus far managed. It takes an even greater intangible to advance beyond that spot and stay there. Even if their run ended tomorrow, The New Day have made more history than even the company itself would care to admit.
