10 Best Wrestling Tag Teams Of 2019 (So Far)

3. The Undisputed Era

Guardians of just about everything truly great in NXT for the better part of two years now, The Undisputed Era promised to take control of all the titles on the developmental brand in 2019. Outstanding matches have followed them as they edged ever closer.

Laying down for the once-wonderful War Raiders in a spectacular Tag Team Championship clash at January's TakeOver: Phoenix, the Kyle O'Reilly/Roderick Strong pairing were arguably the best combination of the four to terrorise the tag ranks, but the traditional former ReDRagon duo of O'Reilly and Bobby Fish were back at their best in a gripping TakeOver: XXV ladder war for the the titles vacated by the since-departed (and later renamed) former Champions.

It'll be those two that go one step further than they managed on that show if the Era are to fulfil their golden prophecy - Strong looks bound for North American Title glory - and though an early switch perhaps wouldn't work wonders for the recently-pushed Street Profits, it would enhance the aesthetic of the coolest (and, subversively, lamest) crew on the black-and-gold brand.
