Yeah, a fair few of these entries could open with one or two word catchphrases. That isn't a bad thing, because snappy phrasing is part and parcel of getting an act over with fans on the mic. Alpha Academy certainly was over throughout 2023, and the team should go from strength to strength in 2024.

Chad Gable is a ridiculously-great professional wrestler. He'll probably never be appreciated properly by the folks penning WWE TV, but Gable can do it all. Otis is the perfect big man foil for both comedic moments and serious arse-kickings alike, and newer recruit Maxxine has been a revelation in the role.

Like Imperium, the Academy always delivers regardless of time allotted or who they're out there working with. It'd be lovely if Gable and Otis were handed a longer tag title run; they had a short sprint in early-2022, but the team is much better now than it was back then.
