Drew Gulak is a very good wrestler, but fans had zero reason to care about the guy for the first few months of his stint in the Cruiserweight division. For a while, he was just another guy on the roster, but he really started to come into his own when he started to host PowerPoint presentations and promise fans a "better 205 Live."

The premise of his feud with Mustafa Ali was so simple yet effective. He hated high-fliers and wished they would stop doing dives unnecessarily, and each of their encounters tied into that theme. He actually lost a match to Ali because he attempted to do a dive, leading to the two facing off in a 2-out-of-3 Falls match on the July 18 edition of 205 Live.

Their initial encounters were well-wrestled, but this was the first time that it felt like they were allowed to go all out and actually showcase their skills for a change. Their styles meshed perfectly and the attention to detail with Ali actually attempting to beat Gulak at his own game made this match a real treat.
