205 Live hasn't hosted too many memorable rivalries in the last year, but The Brian Kendrick vs. Akira Tozawa was among the few feuds that gave fans hope that the Cruiserweight competitors are capable of contesting the unbelievable bouts we know they can.

An argument can be made that their rivalry lasted a little too long, but there's no denying that it culminated with a bang on the May 23 edition of 205 Live when they met in a Street Fight. What made this main event stand out from other No Disqualification matches was how they mostly stayed away from utilizing weapons. It instead felt like a super personal brawl between two men who had such hatred for each other, with only Tozawa using a table at the very end to put the exclamation point on his feud with Kendrick by hitting him with a seated senton splash.

This victory would launch Tozawa into Cruiserweight Championship contention as well as further solidify Kendrick as a tremendous teacher to the fresher faces of WWE's Cruiserweight division, doing everything he can to make them look great.
