2. Triple H Vs. The Great Khali

Yes, the Great Khali once crushed a basketball with his bare hands, but come on, it's Triple H. Triple H is the King of Kings. He could crush a basketball in each hand, if he so desired.

Snark aside, this programme was significantly better than it had any right to be, the absolutely massive 'Babyface Triple H is f*cking well hard' overtones not withstanding, and the broken glass stipulation added both an awesomely cheesy badass visual and a not inconsiderable strain of dangerous drama.

Triple H stalled comedically. This happens a lot. Is this what people like? Main event stars standing around and doing very little? Is arm wrestling big in Saudi Arabia?

Triple H, and thank God for this, spat in Khali's face to assume the early advantage. He didn't simply over-power the man who only had power of which to speak. Knowing Khali wasn't about to fire back with a Tope con Hilo, he didn't kill his heat ahead of their improbably entertaining SummerSlam 2008 match. Trips grunted and gurned quite hilariously, taking, I sh*t you not, a little time to admire his own bicep before Khali disqualified himself.

Both good, bad, and so-bad-it's-good, this was choice pro wrestling theatre elevated by the fact that it was in 2008 and it didn't, miraculously, involve John Cena and or Randy Orton.
