10 Best WWE Attitude Era PPVs

1. WrestleMania X-Seven (2001)

Not only is WrestleMania X-Seven the greatest PPV of the Attitude Era, it should also be mentioned in the conversations about greatest WrestleMania ever and greatest PPV of all time. When you look through the card, there's nary a misstep. Jericho/Regal, Angle/Benoit, McMahon/McMahon, Undertaker/Triple H and even TLC II would be showstealers on any other WrestleMania. Even the Gimmick Battle Royal is so much more fun than you expect it to be, largely thanks to the hilarious rapport between "Mean" Gene Okerlund and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. The main event is part two of the Rock v Austin WrestleMania trilogy, and until the end, it's easily their best match together. Even the opening promo package makes Limp Bizkit seem cool again, and while turning Stone Cold heel in Texas at the height of his popularity may have been a mistake, it doesn't ruin the amazing match that came before it, or the amazing night that was WrestleMania X-Seven. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iEh0FCYw3Dk
