The early episodes of Monday Night Raw are often overlooked in favor of the golden age of the Attitude Era, and while they aren't instant classics by any means, they do feature a handful of memorable match-ups. Among them was this terrific Loser Leaves WWE match between Ric Flair and Mr. Perfect from the 25 Jan, 1993 episode.

Perfect and Flair had once been close allies with Perfect aiding The Nature Boy throughout his 1992 reign as WWE champion. But it was inevitable their egotistical personalities clashed, and when they did, there wouldn't be enough room in WWE for the both of them.

Up to this point, Loser Leaves Town matches were a standard staple in other wrestling companies as they allowed wrestlers to move from one territory to the next, but rarely were they done in WWE. Thus, this match was unique for its time and gave the flagship show that anything-can-happen feel.

As expected, the two contested a great match that still stands to this day as one of the best bouts in the history of Raw. Flair was planted with the Perfect Plex, and the crowd looked on in shock and awe as the referee counted to three. It was perhaps the most meaningful victory of Perfect's career as Flair rode off into the sunset and headed back to WCW, yet Perfect was never any bigger of a star beyond that point due to WWE's inabiity to make him the main event player he had the potential to be.
