At King of the Ring 1993, wronged babyface Yokozuna heroically won back the WWE Championship that had been stolen from him by the dastardly Hulk Hogan at the end of WrestleMania IX.

What do you mean Hogan was the face?!

Anyway, Yoko, who had played a superb monster baddie in a post-steroids age, regained the belt and would hold on to it for a whopping 280 days, the third-longest reign of the decade.

The big guy's most notable rival during this time was Lex Luger, who infamously defeated him at SummerSlam, but via countout. Not that it stopped him celebrating like he'd just won the title...

The Luger feud continued until Survivor Series and then came the Royal Rumble, where the wannabe sumo killed The Undertaker during a casket match. Seriously, this is what happened. Look it up.

Yoko's luck finally ran out after pulling double duty at WrestleMania X. He successfully defended the belt against Luger again, only to lose it to Bret Hart to end the show on a feelgood high.

His reign was far from perfect, but there's no denying just how memorable it was.
