Bayley and Sasha Banks lost their Women's Tag Team Championships on the Grandest Stage last year and reports suggested that they weren't exactly best pleased about it (though those very same reports were later denounced by Banks in her returning Chronicle special).

Nevertheless, 'The Boss' would take a hiatus from the company after this and the loveable hugger Bayley was left on her todd once again after being drafted to SmackDown.

The ever-smiling Bayley would soon go on to win the Women's Money in the Bank ladder match at the titular PPV and successfully cashed in her briefcase that very same night against Charlotte Flair to win the SmackDown Women's gold.

However, becoming the first ever woman to hold the title of Grand Slam Champion still didn't earn her a decent share of the spotlight and wins over Alexa Bliss, Nikki Cross and Ember Moon couldn't mask over her feeling like an afterthought in comparison to Flair and Becky Lynch.

Tired of playing second fiddle to the red brand's champ, she finally snapped and let rip on 'The Man' with a chair on Monday Night Raw. Thus, aiding her returning heel pal Banks and establishing herself as a woman who no longer depended on the fans' opinion of her.

She eventually lost her belt to Flair at Hell in a Cell, but soon won it back and still reigns as SmackDown Women's Champion today. The short haired, now-Bayley Buddy-less star hasn't looked in danger of losing her belt since then and now does whatever is necessary to get the job done.

Bayley at 'Mania 35 was a loser. Bayley at 'Mania 36 has learnt from those failings.
