10 Best WWE Debuts Ever

1. Chris Jericho

The best debut in WWE history? You would be hard pushed to find a better one than Chris Jericho's. Right at the height of the war between WWE and WCW, Jericho's leap between the promotions was a huge landmark moment in the history of the Attitude Era. It was subtlety done by the company - they released a video counting down towards what many people perceived to be the Millennium. After all, it was 1999. However, when the clock struck zero in August of 1999, it was revealed to be anything but a New Year countdown - Chris Jericho had arrived. The Rock - a man who often finds himself on the receiving end of these dramatic debuts - was interrupted by the Canadian, who announced his arrival in the WWE with some serious style. His declaration of "Raw is Jericho" is still one of the most memorable lines ever used by a WWE star. And that debut - even without a real lack of action in the ring - is still one of the most discussed.
