10 Best WWE Debuts Ever

2. Tazz

The debut of Tazz is often a forgotten one when it comes to lists such as this - but it really shouldn't be. Sure, he appeared in the WWE as an ECW star in 1997, but his real first appearance as a WWE competitor came at the Royal Rumble in 2000. Kurt Angle was undefeated with the company at that point, and was on a really impressive roll during his early days with the WWE. He was due to face an unnamed challenger at the Royal Rumble - which was being held at Madison Square Garden - and was in no mood to mess about - calling the challenger out. The music hit, and the crowd started to descend into raptures as they realized that the promo videos that had been airing for months meant that one of ECW's most revered characters was arriving in the WWE - Tazz. Although the match went back and forth for lengthy periods, it was The Human Suplex Machine who got the victory and ended Angle's undefeated streak.
