Sheamus Jamie Noble Back in 2009, a rogue Irishman by the name of Sheamus debuted with the company - and made a remarkable statement to lay the foundations for an incredibly quick rise to the top. His first match on Raw - and the main roster - was against Jamie Noble, a guy who was nearing retirement in all reality. And Sheamus gave him an almighty couple of beatings - to such an extent that he forced Noble into retirement. That first encounter was particularly bruising, with him slamming Noble on the mat with wicked effect. He went on to become a WWE Champion after a matter of months, and it is this debut that laid the foundations. The WWE will never forget Sheamus' debut, and it justified what a star he was set to be.
