Receiving the Stone Cold Steve Austin treatment, CM Punk’s feature-length documentary was released during the peak of The Voice of The Voiceless. At its time of release, CM Punk was in the middle of his 400+ day reign as WWE Champion, and it candidly captures the motive behind the Chicago Made Punk: he was trying to change the place from within.

Setting the precedent, this record shines a spotlight on Punk’s time in Ring of Honor, and even has his then-best friend, Colt Cabana, as a talking head.

Revealing his frustrations around creative, the feature concludes with an optimistic view of Phil Brooks, who at the time, had seemingly accomplished his mission.

Watching this documentary back, knowing what would occur in 2014 makes it bleak viewing, but it remains essential nonetheless.
