This match was the epitome of cool. Evolution had dominated WWE a decade prior to their encounter with The Shield in 2014. They were led by Triple H - who was by now (and still is) the boss - but Hunter spoke of how he'd given The Shield the opportunity to shine since their debut, only to see it blow up in his face. In turn, he put a hit out on Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns, who were getting a little too big for their boots. The Shield were in the midst of a blossoming babyface run at the time. They ascended at a rate as quick as Bootista's proposed good-guy stretch had earlier got flushed down the toilet. Batista and Orton's failed attempts to take the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania brought them into the picture, since Hunter needed some help. The match will be best remembered for Rollins' suicidal leap from the stands in the crowd onto Triple H and Orton, before Reigns exacted some revenge for his elimination in the last two at the Royal Rumble by pinning Batista in the ring. The feud would continue through Payback and see The Shield clean sweep Evolution in a six-man elimination match - only for Rollins to do the unthinkable the next night and turn to the dark side. We all remember that, right?
