10 Best WWE Feuds From The 2000s

6. The Undertaker Vs. Edge

The Undertaker had the best feuds of his career in the late 2000s, which is pretty amazing considering her turned 40 years old in 2005. Part of the reason he had better feuds in his 40s is because he got to work with better wrestlers. There were bad rivalries against the likes of Heidenreich and Great Khali, but when he had a chance to feud with Edge the matches were great. A big reason the feud worked so well is because Edge was the kind of old school heel that used every trick in the book to stay competitive. He had his buddies Ryder & Hawkins interfere all the time, he had a relationship with Smackdown GM Vickie Guerrero to help him at every opportunity and they were able to milk it into a five month feud. It started at WrestleMania 24 in 2008 when they got to main event the show. Edge was the World Champion and they had a very competitive match that Undertaker won. There were some great nearfalls in that match. It's one of the stronger WM main events that is a bit underrated too. It didn't end there, though. They also had PPV matches at Backlash, Judgment Day and One Night Stand, which was a special match because it was a TLC battle. It was a new match for Undertaker and surreal to see him in a match like that. He lost because of all the help that Edge had. Remember Bam Neely? Even he got involved to help Edge. Their rivalry ended at SummerSlam 2008 with Undertaker destroying Edge in a Hell in a Cell match. After he got the win, Undertaker sent Edge through the ring and then it was lit on fire to finally end things once and for all after five PPV matches between the two. It was a spectacular way to close the book on that storyline.
