The first of two back-to-back matches from often-forgotten Cruiserweight weekly 205 Live, this first round match in the Cruiser Title tournament aimed to pick up the pieces post-Enzo Amore. Following the tourney's launch in January, nobody blinked an eye when Drew Gulak and Tony Nese were paired together.

What could've been time filler turned into a dark-horse classic.

Gulak and Nese must've supped something pre-workout before shooting through the curtain or something; their combined energy was infectious. On a show known for sparse crowds and a respectful (if tepid) atmosphere, both went out of their way to give people a reason to tune in.

They started slowly, using technical mat skills to tie one another in knots. Though that ended up being 90% of the match, there were some moments of speed that proved Gulak and Nese should be taken more seriously than they are by those making the matches.
