10 Best WWE Hidden Gems In 2018

7. Buddy Murphy Vs. Mustafa Ali (205 Live - 3 July)

This one couldn't be more of a contrast to the ground game Gulak and Nese favoured.

In early-July, Buddy Murphy aimed to break the 1-1 scoreline between he and regular foe Mustafa Ali by attempting to break some steel steps with Ali's body. Honestly, some of the (admittedly well-tucked and flat) bumps Mustafa took on the steps were enough to make one's eyes start watering.

Throughout the mach, Murphy looked every bit the bloodthirsty heel 205 Live needed, and he was blatantly sowing the seeds for a much bigger role on the show in coming months. In the shape of his life, the future Cruiserweight Champ displayed poise, viciousness and a willingness to sell rather than run through some spots.

Even if you're unlikely to make 205 part of your weekly schedule from here on out, give this one a look. The 'No DQ' stipulation (a rarity on the show) helped, and the match is better than most fare wheeled out on Raw or SmackDown.
