This had to be here, if only 'cause WWE treated the match like an unwanted Christmas pressie they couldn't wait to poke fun at. Why in the name of Kalisto's mask they thought pretending it didn't happen was a good idea is honestly baffling. The match wasn't important enough to part in the Raw vs. SmackDown feud, apparently.

That doesn't mean it's not worth your attention. Don't listen to Michael Cole. It was.

Perhaps armed with the knowledge they were literally being ignored by the company they work for on one of the year's bigger pay-per-views, tag-teams from both brands worked hard to entertain. That's admirable considering the circumstances. It would've been far easier for all 10 duos involved to phone it in.

Of note, it was great to see The Revival get some time with The Usos, and the second part of the (23-minute) Kickoff appetiser frankly ruled. If only we lived in a world where proper tag-teams meant something to WWE and weren't terribly overlooked.
