10 Best WWE In Your House Matches EVER

5. Jeff Jarrett Vs Shawn Michaels (In Your House 2)

Jeff Jarrett and Shawn Michaels made a huge case for their In Your House 2 battle being the best straight no-stips WWE singles match of the decade up to that point when they tore the house down in July 1995. Only The Hart Brothers, The 1-2-3 Kid and Davey Boy Smith could really compete their own efforts at the point. Michaels in particular was approaching Ric Flair 'broomstick' levels by the time he took back the Intercontinental Title, but Jarrett was no slouch when it came to keeping pace here.

Meshing a Memphis-style main event with the poise and polish of the the New Generation, the story and structure suited both so well as a potential styles clash morphed into a work of art.

Vicious and cunning instead of cowardly, the Champion's heat segment built off a ridiculous bump to the floor from the Challenger and his masterful selling of it. The crowd are so electric for Shawn's recovery that their begrudging respect for Jarrett's singing earlier in the pay-per-view has entirely dissolved. Michaels was untouchable, irresistible, and every other adjective Vince McMahon lovingly donated commentary - Jarrett had done well to stay in charge as long as he had before the inevitable but climactic babyface win.
