One of Samoa Joe's New Year Resolutions for 2019 must be to grab even more promo time on WWE TV. After all, he's damn good at cutting them, and he was a regular highlight throughout 2018. On 1 January, he started the year off right with a masterclass in not-so-subtle nods towards real life outside company walls.

During a backstage interview with now-colour commentator Renee Young, Joe said he was systematically destroying members of The Shield. Before turning his attention to Roman Reigns, he couldn't resist a little jab at Young's hubby Dean Ambrose, and Renee's reaction was f'n priceless.

Joe didn't give her much time to sell his "stay-at-home husband" quip before moving on, which showed his skills, but it was hilarious to see Young's 'ehmahgerd' face as she tried not to laugh.
