10 Best WWE Insults Of 2018

8. AJ Styles To Dolph Ziggler (SmackDown - 6 March)

"This coming from the man who's been in WWE for 13 years and still hasn't reached his full potential".

WWE life hasn't always been kind of Dolph Ziggler. He's been a golf caddy for suspiciously-racist characters (Kerwin White), a male cheerleader (in The Spirit Squad), and a dude who had the character depth of a TV extra when he repeatedly said, "Hi, I'm Dolph Ziggler" upon his debut under that gimmick.

When he interrupted AJ Styles in early-March and remarked that the guy used to be cool, Dolph surely knew some kind of insult would be fired back. Leave it AJ to deadpan deliver quite the rebuttal and poke fun at Ziggler's trials and tribulations over the past decade plus in WWE.

Short of bringing up his time as Nicky in The Squad, this was as vicious as likeable babyface Styles was going to get. That's fine, because it acknowledged how topsy-turvy Dolph's career has been and aimed some blame at his feet all at once.
