10 Best WWE Last Man Standing Matches

1. Triple H Vs. Chris Jericho At Fully Loaded 2000

A lot of the matches in this list were main event matches. This one was not. It was a midcard match that took place on a stacked July PPV as Jericho tried to prove that he was a top guy just like Triple H was. The build for it was excellent because it took place a couple of months after Jericho beat Hunter for the WWE Title (a memorable Raw moment) and even though Hunter lost the WWE Title, Jericho kept on going after him. It was a Last Man Standing Match with a lot of psychology involved in it. They didn't just have a wild brawl for the sake of it. Jericho went into it with taped ribs. Hunter got busted open after a chair shot to the face and that blood helped tell a story because it looked like it weaened Hunter. He was the clear favorite, so Jericho was able to weaken him by making him lose blood. Even Stephanie took the Walls of Jericho at one point too. What I loved about this match is that it was booked evenly from start to finish. Triple H winning did upset me at the time because I thought a Jericho win would have been huge for him, but he was so close that it didn't hurt him at all. They ended it in a spot by the announce table where Hunter drove Jericho through the table with a back suplex. Both guys were down until 9, but Hunter was able to get up before 10 while Jericho could not, so that meant Hunter won the match barely. It was such an even battle that he collapsed after it was over too. These two men had so many classic matches in their career, but this is definitely one of the best ones they had and it's also the greatest Last Man Standing Matches in WWE history.
