10 Best WWE Matches Ever To Take Place In Canada

5. Hulk Hogan Vs The Rock - WrestleMania X8 (Toronto)

WWE.comWWE.comTo this day, Hogan vs Rock at the Toronto Skydome in 2002, is probably the loudest and most sustained cheering in WWE history. That really is saying something. The crowd that night were just magical for Hogan, effusing excitement to see the WWF legend back 'home' in a Vince McMahon ring. It almost felt like there was some sort of emotional bond between Hogan and Toronto, they'd watched him main event at Mania 6, now they were back together again at Mania 18. It was a special spectacle to behold, the way Rock and Hogan looked around the arena and soaked it in told us something, it was a 'moment' in history. Once the match was underway we got some fairly good brawling action. It is one of Hogan's better matches and Rock was his usual brilliant self. The 'icon vs icon' billing lived up to expectations, this was one contest you simply have to see and more importantly hear. What an amazing crowd!
