10 Best WWE Matches Held In Saudi Arabia So Far
8. Dolph Ziggler vs Seth Rollins (Crown Jewel)
One of the few high points of this atrocious show, Seth and Ziggler did exactly what they'd been doing for the last few months and put on a great match against each other.
It's a shame when one looks back at the outcome of the tournament, as the two semifinals delivered and set us up for what could have been a great final with a deserving winner. But then... Shane happened.
Sweaty and nepotism aside, this was a memorable match with the right winner - Ziggler was on his way to the final and Seth had just been painted as the perfect babyface, a backdrop that would foreshadow his Royal Rumble win and Wrestlemania victory months later. It also did a great job of painting Ziggler and Mcyntire as an unstoppable force, sowing the seeds for a truly shocking split down the line.
This match did just what it was supposed to do, and sent all the participants away with a purpose.
