10 Best WWE Matches Held In Saudi Arabia So Far
7. D-Generation X vs. The Brothers of Destruction (Crown Jewel)
I'll take "Triple H matches that could have been great but were dragged down by their absurdly long runtime" for 100, Alex!
And that just about sums up the only flaw of this match. The crowd was red-hot, and we already had the return of Shawn Michaels to make it a memorable one. Not a single viewer turned on this match expecting a technical classic. This match was bound to be a fun one, not a good one, and on that front it's impossible to say that this match didn't deliver.
Michaels had the crowd in the palm of his hand for the entirety of the bout. and he replayed all his signature moves to thunderous cheers while Triple H did a commendable job of controlling the match and it's pacing (which, come to think of it, would explain why it went as long as it did).
The match climaxed when Michaels hit a moonsault onto the otherworldly tag team, and although it came far too late, it was the perfect spot to cap off the night.
