As if there was any other choice for the top spot.

WWE will struggle to tell a story as compelling as KofiMania anytime soon. Though he wasn't in the main event, his journey to this year's 'Show Of Shows' was more compelling than anyone else's. The company played it perfectly, and this wonderful babyface chase peaked at just the right moment, helping two world-class performers one of the most emotional title fights in living memory.

Attributing the match's quality solely to its overarching story does it a great disservice, as both men delivered performances to suit the occasion. Bryan laid out an instant classic. Not a single beat was out of place as the bout escalated in drama and intensity, and he was in full on d*ckhead mode towards the end. Kingston, meanwhile, was on fire as the underdog. The layout would've meant nothing if he hadn't pushed himself to his limits during his comebacks, and that's what he did, cutting through the ring general with more grit than ever before.

This was joyous, life-affirming stuff. A perfect potion of excitement, athleticism, and emotion, it was everything Sports Entertainment should be.
