10 Best WWE Matches Of 2019 (So Far)

4. The Shield Vs. Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin & Bobby Lashley (Fastlane)

WWE WrestleMania 35 Daniel Bryan Kofi Kingston
WWE

Watch Roman Reigns' interactions with Baron Corbin in this match the next time you find yourself doubting the man's ability. He made one of WWE's most ordinary in-ring performers look like one of the sport's most dramatic here, proving his skill as a carrier.

The whole match was tremendous. It'll go down as the last great Shield trios bout, and 'The Big Dog' was at the heart of this. With all the emotion of his return from leukaemia coursing through him, roman and his brothers used the moment's catharsis to engineer an energetic clash that harked back to career-making Shield scraps with the likes of The Wyatt Family and Team Hell No +1.

That they were able to generate such heat with such an unengaging heel faction speaks to the match's emotional heft. This thing was real. When Seth Rollins broke code to scream "one last motherf*cking time" before the bout-ending Triple Powerbomb, he, like most viewers, was totally lost in the moment. That it lulled in the middle didn't matter: the conclusion was goosebump-inducing, and the brawling suitably chaotic.
