3. Brock Lesnar Vs. Finn Balor (Royal Rumble)

A rare World Championship opportunity for a World Championship calibre athlete, Finn Balor's clash with Brock Lesnar delivered two stark reminders:-

1. 'The Extraordinary Man' remains a phenomenal talent who should never have been pulled from the Universal Title scene upon returning from injury in 2017.

2. When motivated, Lesnar is the most captivating special attraction in the game.

Brock's best bouts are unique in a promotion that has largely ground its rosters collective star power to dust. 'The Beast Incarnate' is one of only a handful who have any kind of mystique left and there's nothing like watching him in full flight, whether he's attacking or defending.

While fans are more than used to seeing Lesnar maul his opponents, he put forth an excellent selling performance at Royal Rumble 2019. Yes, he flung Balor around like a ragdoll at every opportunity, but he bumped like crazy, too, and Finn's stomach-based assault made for a great in-ring story. Why hasn't anyone targeted Brock's diverticulitis-ravaged guts before?! It should be the easiest pathway to victory.

A classic example of the underdog getting over in the defeat, the only regret is that it didn't result in an extended Balor push.
