10 Best WWE Matches That Ever Happened In July

10. Daniel Bryan Vs. Antonio Cesaro - Raw (July 22, 2013)

This was the second of three matches that Daniel Bryan wrestled as part of a gauntlet on Raw. It was in the lead up to SummerSlam where Bryan was put into a position where he had to prove that he was worthy of challenging John Cena for the WWE Title. His first match was a win over Jack Swagger in about three minutes, then he faced Cesaro in this 20 minute classic and after that he took on Ryback in a 12 minute match. It's no surprise that WWE would give Bryan and Cesaro nearly 20 minutes on Raw considering how great they are. They also have a lot of chemistry because of their days pre-WWE when they wrestled all over the world for various indy promotions. Bryan's tremendous working as the underdog. Since Cesaro's great as a power wrestler, they did some awesome spots like when Cesaro gave him a forearm shot after Bryan was shoved off the top by Swagger. Cesaro overpowered him the whole match, but Bryan kept on coming back. That's what we love about the guy. That fighting spirit is infectious. The best part may have been the ending because just when it looked like Bryan was about to lose, he countered a Cesaro uppercut shot into an inside cradle for the pinfall win. Not many guys could counter that move like that. Bryan did. This match was a technical wrestling classic between two of the best in-ring performers in WWE today. It also made me really miss Daniel Bryan.
