10 Best WWE Network Shows Of 2019 (So Far)

8. Alexa Bliss: 365

Alexa Bliss
WWE

Alexa Bliss' 2018-2019, as profiled in WWE's latest 365 special, was a one of some turmoil and tumult considering her age, experience level and position in the organisation.

The WrestleMania-to-WrestleMania run was designed, presumably, to trace the relatively moribund road of a WWE Superstar at the top of her game, before she was very nearly taken out of it altogether by lingering concussion issues that plagued half of her year.

Instead, it served as a rewarding reminder that there are humans behind the gimmicks and men and women behind a machine that seems almost entirely broken in the modern age.

Bliss comments warmly on her friends and family in and out of the industry, speaks openly of the visible and hidden challenges of her chosen life - all set to the fear that her concussions could take her away from it.

Vince McMahon - evil, old, senile stupid bloody Vince McMahon - couldn't have been nicer to Alexa either side of live displays as she confidently engaged with The Chairman in that way we're told so few can actually do anymore. It's little wonder she's been persistently featured since her 2016 call-up - he clearly respects her personality as well as her talent.
