10 Best WWE Network Shows Of 2019 (So Far)

7. 24 - The Year Of Ronda Rousey

Alexa Bliss
WWE Network

Suited more to the 365 format but bottled in a 24 special presumably to avoid overshadowing the aforementioned Alexa Bliss story, Ronda Rousey's entire WWE career was neatly packaged by an earnest special on the former UFC Champion.

Compiling her hopes, fears, unreal highs and occasional lows as she transitioned from the Octagon to the squared circle, the cameras caught virtually everything as she became the company's biggest star by a wide margin.

It was - as these always are - loaded with lovely little treats from eagle-eyed editors. Alongside lots of miniature interactions with legends and newcomers alike, Ronda's magnetism and enthusiasm throughout the bulk of the piece make her sickly sweet moments with husband Travis Browne marginally easier to parse.

A clip of an interview alongside Kurt Angle ahead of WrestleMania 34 was the highlight. In between takes, she asks if a woman has ever main evented WrestleMania. When told know, she casually promises to change that - it was rewarding that the company didn't have to manufacture a dream for her to achieve in such a short time.
