Randy Orton has the same record as the Miz at Night of Champions, but with two of his victories has come in multi-man matches (as opposed to one multi-man and a tag match) he sits just ahead of the Awesome One. Orton's first Night of Champions was a loss in a multi-man match, a five-pack challenge for the WWE Championship in 2007 that saw Cena retain by pinning Mick Foley. 2009 saw Orton pick up his first Night of Champions victory, defeated John Cena and Triple H in a triple threat for that same WWE Championship.

This run of success continued in 2010 as Orton bested Sheamus, Cena, Wade Barrett, Edge and Chris Jericho to pick up yet another WWE Championship. By 2011 Orton was in possession of the World Heavyweight Championship but came up short against a resurgent Mark Henry. His yo-yo type form continued with a win in 2012 against Dolph Ziggler, then of course a loss in 2013 against Daniel Bryan. If you're following the pattern, you'll know that 2014 means a win, this time against Chris Jericho.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
