3. WrestleMania XV
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2jpgqa_wwf-wrestlemania-xv-intro_sport Just a few years after WrestleMania XV, 'Classy' Freddie Blassie would pass away aged 85. Therefore, the closing image of this intro video sends a chill up the spine, as the legendary wrestler and manager passes through a doorway, bathed in white light. The tone is clear, WrestleMania is a platform during which men and women can make themselves immortal. This wouldn't be the last piece of narration Blassie would deliver for the WWF. At SummerSlam 2000, he was also on hand for a memorable piece of hype. However, there's just something about the 'Mania clip that stands out. The production team managed to outdo themselves once again with this one. WrestleMania has become an event synonymous with celebrating legends from WWE's past. Freddie Blassie, who had previously been inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame in 1994, was testament to that tradition. On a night during which Steve Austin and The Rock would tear the house down, this intro was a reminder of what had come before.
