That gnawing fear fans experienced at the Chamber pay-per-view turned into complete anxiety come WrestleMania. What if Vince McMahon really didn't view Kofi Kingston as WWE Championship material? What if they f*ck us and don't book the result we want? What if? What if? Argh! What if!?

What if Kofi beats Bryan, sends a stadium full of people tumbling into tearful ecstasy and finally bags the big one. Yeah, that's what happened, and it ended up being one of the best WWE moments in living memory.

The match content was good too. It had a story to spin, and there was always a nagging worry in the stands that 'KofiMania' wouldn't come true. Just try watching the final few minutes and Kofi's match-winning Trouble In Paradise kick without getting goosebumps. If you're human and don't have ice running through those veins, it's impossible.

People leapt out of their chairs when that happened. They sensed victory, and they sensed the kind of moments WrestleMania was created to produce. This, through all talk of a show that's too long and up its own arse, made all those hours of investment worth it.
