10 Best WWE PPV Matches Of 2019 (So Far)
5. Daniel Bryan vs. Kevin Owens vs. Ali (Fastlane)
Ali was in a rough spot at Fastlane. Not only was he encroaching on the Daniel Bryan vs. Kevin Owens situation, but the inspiring babyface also had to contend with an audience who dearly wanted Kofi Kingston in the title picture. When Ali came out then, it felt a bit like porridge for breakfast.
You know it's good for you, but you'd much rather have Lucky Charms.
In-keeping with the brekkie analogy, this threesome served up a delicious Triple Threat that ended up being a sleeper hit. Ali's hard work and natural charisma won over the fans, and it was interesting to see KO play baby here too. Rounding things out, Daniel Bryan was in his element as he bumped around for his peers and found a way to win.
His deviousness, KO's Dusty Rhodes-like babyface work and Ali's high-flying all combined to make for a three-way no-one saw coming. It arguably could have shaved a few minutes off the 18-minute duration and still been great, but that's a minor gripe when the quality was so high.
