This year's Royal Rumble will be remembered as the evening Triple H entered the 30-man match and won the WWE World Heavyweight Title. That was clear set up for a bout against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, but 'The Game' would have to face another man at Roadblock before 'Mania, Dean Ambrose.

Back at the Rumble, Ambrose contested the WWE Intercontinental Title with Kevin Owens. The pair had been at loggerheads for a while, but their issues peaked at the January pay-per-view. Facing off in a Last Man Standing Match, they admirably worked within the strict confines of the 'PG' certification, producing a wonderful opener.

Aside from the showpiece Royal Rumble, Ambrose vs. Owens was the best match on the entire show. There was a sense coming out of the brawl that both men were able to achieve more, if only WWE would let them.

In the case of Ambrose, his promise has been fulfilled via a recent title reign. For Owens, there's definitely more to come, the Rumble proved once again that he's one of the most satisfying performers under the WWE banner.
