The Miz Maryse Intercontinental Title

The third and final Intercontinental Title moment on this list comes in the form of a quite brilliant Fatal-4-Way at Extreme Rules. The Miz was the one to dethrone Zack Ryder immediately after WrestleMania, doing so the night after the show on Monday Night Raw. Since then, he's proven a great choice as champion.

With Maryse by his side, Miz has been at his irritating best. Recently taking some time out to film The Marine 5, he can look back on a great few months as Intercontinental Champion. So slick were Miz's performances that it'll be genuinely nice to have him back on the active roster soon.

At Extreme Rules, The Miz faced Cesaro, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn for the gold. One pin fall or submission was all that was needed, and the quartet didn't disappoint. The bout was so well-received by the live audience that it seemed to encroach on the Asylum Match between Dean Ambrose and Chris Jericho later.

After the Intercontinental Title crew had rocked the house, Jericho and Ambrose struggled to maintain fan interest until one colossal thumbtack bump from Y2J.
