6. Rey Mysterio's Rumble Return

"Booyaka, Booyaka".

As soon as the familiar strains of Rey Mysterio's entrance theme hit and he began running down the aisle as the Royal Rumble's 27th entrant, the live crowd in Philadelphia lost their minds. This was the first time Rey had been seen in WWE since 2014, and it was long overdue.

Four years ago, Mysterio cut a weary figure. Battered and bruised from years of punishing his body with a high-flying style, he was struggling to perform at his best. Rey, more than ever, needed time off to heal and rest his overworked bones. He'd do just that, and he looked rejuvenated upon returning in January.

That Rumble appearance hasn't yet led to the full-time run fans and industry critics alike expected, but it did show that Rey was healthy enough to warrant one. Personally, this writer would like to see Adam Cole try to avenge his Rumble elimination, or Rey tangle with AJ Styles.

A match like that shouldn't be limited to WWE 2K19.
