Our number two pick Stone Cold once described this man as the absolute best ever on the microphone bar none and we agree that his argument has a ton of merit. In a time where the mic work of the roster as a whole was at a high point, The Rock was head and shoulders above the rest. His catchphrases made him and the WWE millions (and millions!) alone and his dynamic rock star of a persona made for both an awesome babyface and a boo him till you puke heel. It's also worth noting that several of our entries on the list share something in common: they all had memorable and oft quoted segments with The Rock. Foley and Jericho have been specifically mentioned and his on/off rivalry with Stone Cold Steve Austin was one for the ages, the two building to and producing some of the most amazing main event matches of all time together. We've seen him again more recently in his numerous limited returns from Hollywood but the PG rating admittedly stifles his verbal creativity. Not being able to call Stephanie McMahon a candy ass ho on national television anymore has made him lose some of his bite, but at the time, he was utterly untouchable on the microphone.
